The main challenges of this concept project are: air conditioning with innovation and affordable costs; work the product in conjunction to the brand consolidation in Brazil; and improve the communication, to be seen as a company that provides innovation, technology and design in a friendly and accessible manner. As a leader in air conditioning segment, bring innovation is essential to maintain the reference position. Therefore, the initial challenge was search for new models that could fulfil the latent consumer needs, especially regarding the installation process and allow the object as part of the home environment, with no need to hide it. After defining the new model shape, the challenge was the development of the heat exchange and usability components. To do it, a large work in collaboration with the engineering team was essential, developing and adapting every single internal component and solve technical problems attending the design requisition.
In spite of the high technology used to create new functions, Sensia air conditioning main benefit still is: it dispenses specialized installation or wall destruction during installation. Bringing a lot of innovation to the category, unifies three benefits in a single premium product. 1. Lights – it’s an eco-friendly luminaire with green LEDs, which are easily seen by durability and low power consumption; 2. Temperature Control – a unique heat exchange system, allowing adjustment of the desired temperature for the environment; 3. Air Filtration – HEPA H14 filters, which capture 99.995% of air impurities, filtering particles up to 0,1μm (bacteria, cigarette smoke, pollen, animal dander allergens and some viruses). All the sustainable appeal are visible; low energy consumption, ecological materials and inner components, throughout the manufacturing process – present 90% of the waste generated is recycled. This environmental concern is also seen in the use of internal cooling fluids. In terms of interaction, the intuitive smart panel, present innovative features as the people identification, cooling direction, according to the environment and occupation, humidity control and more. The control can be remote, made through the mobile app.
